Qualified pharmacist with clinical, industrial and academic experience in drug and delivery device development with an ongoing interest in the treatment of cancers, including those of the central nervous system.
Designing injectable/implantable devices that can deliver a variety of drugs and nanoparticles over prolonged periods with a view to minimising the recurrence of cancer from the tumour margins left after standard neurosurgery interventions. These treatments are to synergise with other treatment modalities such as radiotherapy.
Tumour type: glioma- and medulloblastoma-derived cell lines.
