Drug delivery & microscale mechanics

I have been working on understanding the infusion mechanisms in CNS tissue and its microscale mechanical behaviour using experimental techniques. This is important for the optimisation of infusion-based drug delivery therapies such as convection-enhanced delivery. I have recently revealed that drug-infusion in CNS tissue is significantly dependent on the directionality of axons.
