I am a Senior Research Associate at the Brain Tumour Centre, University of Portsmouth, focused on the development of a 3D in vitro model of brain tumours.

During an MSc in Biomedical Engineering, I explored the use of polymeric nanoparticles as drug carriers to the bone. Later, as a Research Assistant, I worked with a gene delivery system based on dendrimers for brain regeneration. I have recently completed a PhD dedicated to peptide nanomaterials for the treatment of brain tumours.


Existing collaborations relevant to drug delivery

Collaboration with Biophysics Laboratory at Johannes Kepler University (Austria) to use single-molecule force spectroscopy to evaluate binding of nanomaterials to tumour cells.
